There is something incredibly romantic about getting married amidst the trees and changing colors at a historic estate on the banks of the Mississippi River. Linden Hill Historic Event Center is absolutely gorgeous in any season and was the perfect setting to host Mariah and Tim’s fall wedding! These two are the sweetest couple ever and we had a blast getting to know them during their winter engagement session in Duluth. We couldn’t wait to continue the fun on their wedding day! Mandy Brower with Mary Kay did a beautiful job on makeup and Studio C Salon did an incredible job on the ladies’ hair! Mariah, being a professional herself, knew the very best in the business! We were completely in love with the way her hair flowed with the design of her dress! Mariah’s gorgeous gown by Allure Bridals was stunning and both the ladies’ dresses and the men’s suits were from Jackie J’s Bridal and Formal Wear. We loved the ladies’ bold red and gold colors and the men’s grey suits were the perfect complement! Dennis Possin put together bouquets that pulled in bold reds, whites, and greens that blended perfectly!
A few of our favorite moments from the day included the first look with the bridesmaids and when Tim saw his bride for the first time. The emotion in that moment was absolutely beautiful! The funniest moment of the day had to have been when Elphie (the couple’s Corgi puppy) literally pulled the ring-bearers down the aisle. Before you could even see the boys, the guests could hear “Whoa!!! Whoa!!!” as the boys ran behind the energetic pup! It definitely made for a processional that we will never forget! 🙂 Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed appetizers and the wedding party toasted to the new couple! The reception kicked off with dinner and speeches. We always love the emotion captured during speeches. It is such a sweet time of hearing how both the bride and groom have impacted their family and friends over the years and is such a sweet celebration of those relationships! We finished the night off with some incredible golden hour photos along the river – the perfect end to a perfect day!
