We love photographing families! Summer is always a busy season for weddings so when we can sneak in a portrait session or two in the middle of the week, it’s always a treat!  It has been such a joy to connect with families that we have gotten to know over the years.  We’ve had the privilege of capturing Rhonda’s beautiful family multiple times now, and no matter the setting, whether snowy fields in the the middle of winter, or in the streets of downtown mid-summer, this group has been incredible to work with.  We always look forward to seeing what outfits they choose, and once again, they knocked it out of the park!  Their colors fit each of their personalities perfectly, and their outfits worked beautifully within the natural surroundings.  

We were excited to be back at William O’Brien State Park in Marine on St. Croix for their session, and had the best time together as we explored the fields and lakeshore for portraits.  Capturing genuine personality and each relationship is our ultimate goal for family sessions, and photographing these three sisters is always a blast.  They are so easy to work with, and once again, their gorgeous smiles shined throughout the entire session.

It has truly been an honor to watch this family grow over the years!  As we walked through the park, we chatted about how fast these last few decades have flown by.  We can hardly believe the teen years are upon us, and just like everyone says: time flys by quickly, capture the memories whenever you can.  This is exactly why we love what we get to do!  We know how quickly kids grow and change, and at least for a moment, we can slow down time and document a season to last a lifetime.
