Summer engagement sessions are in full swing, and we could not be any happier!  Connecting with our couples before their wedding days is always so much fun, and we love getting to know them and hearing their stories as they plan their dream day.  When David first saw Arielle outside of the apartment complex they both lived in, he knew he needed to talk to her!  Sparks flew in that first conversation, which eventually led to David proposing at sunset in Hawaii.  We can’t imagine a more breathtaking location to get engaged, and of course Arielle said yes!  When they reached out to book their wedding, we were thrilled!

Arielle and David couldn’t have had a more beautiful evening for their downtown Wayzata engagement session, and we were beyond excited to capture this sweet season of life for them!  We began near the Hotel Landing – one of our favorite places in the area.  These two looked amazing, and we absolutely adored Arielle’s stunning shoes.  They brought the perfect touch of bridal to the session.  As we walked along the shops, we photographed portraits among the garden area before heading to the marina.  We loved the way the white, blue, and green colors of their outfits worked with the boats beside the docks, and as the sun began to set we finished out the session along the beach.

We had the best time together, and can’t wait to continue documenting their love story at their wedding next summer!  It’s now officially under one year away, and we are already counting down the days!  Arielle and David will host their family and friends at one of our favorite venues – the Hutton House in Medicine Lake.  They are working with the talented Ashley Skeie Events, and we have no doubt their day is going to be absolutely incredible!
