We cannot think of a better way to begin our portrait sessions in sunny, Southwest Florida, than with Emily and Preston, one of our sweet wedding couples from a few years ago!  The first time we connected with them was for their snowy, winter engagement session in Taylors Falls.  They had so much fun that day that they decided to book a second session in the spring!  We captured that session surrounded by flowering trees and began counting down the days until their fall wedding.  Their big day was filled with so much joy, and we had the best time taking portraits among the rolling hills and apple trees at Dixon’s Apple Orchard.

These two are the sweetest, and when Emily reached out to book a session at the beach we were thrilled!  She and Preston were going to be in Florida to run a marathon at Disney World, and we were beyond excited for them!  Disney would be a pretty magical place for a marathon if you ask us, and we are so happy that they were able to accomplish such an amazing goal together!  They drove down from Orlando to meet us at Manasota Key Beach in Englewood for their session on an absolutely gorgeous evening.  Having just arrived from Minnesota ourselves, we soaked up the warm weather and sunshine with an extra level of appreciation.

We started off their session among the palm trees, and as the sun began to set we made our way to the beach.  It is always such an honor to photograph celebrations and milestones in life, and it was so fun capturing these two with their marathon metals!  We are so thankful to have connected with them again, and are beyond grateful to be able to document another piece of their story!
