North Loop, Minneapolis | Engagement

After a decade of photographing weddings, we have had the privilege of serving hundreds of incredible couples, their families, and their friends.  It seems as though every wedding we photograph, we learn of some kind of fun connection that a guest or family member shares with us.  We actually first met Katie and Harrison at a wedding we photographed three years ago, and we were so honored to receive such a kind referral!  After Katie reached out to us to book their engagement session, we discovered that they are also connected with another couple whose wedding we photographed this past winter!  It is truly such a small world and we couldn’t be more grateful to have our couples share our name with their family and friends!

Katie and Harrison are an incredible couple!  We could not wait for their session, and met on a gorgeous sunny evening to explore the North Loop together.  We love the industrial vibe of the Warehouse District and the variety of the backdrops that all of the buildings provide.  We also love it when couples incorporate a piece of who they are into their session.  We chatted the evening away, not only about Katie and Harrison’s love for the city and the North Loop area, but also about cabin life and wake surfing.  These two are amazing and completely nailed this session!

After exploring the area around Monte Carlo and Martin Patrick, we headed to a rooftop to capture some sunset photos with a skyline view.  We loved the way that Katie’s gorgeous red dress glowed in the soft, pink light following sunset.  She and Harrison popped some champagne and toasted to being engaged!  It was such an amazing evening and we are so excited for them as they plan their big day at Bavaria Downs next spring!
