Andover | Summer Senior Portrait Session

There is something so sweet about celebrating milestones with family and friends.  To be able to celebrate senior year with your twin sister has got to be a whole new level of fun!  These girls are absolutely amazing.  Talented and sweet, they completely blew us away at how much fun their session was!  They totally rocked their senior portraits and their personalities, smiles, and natural beauty absolutely shines through their photos.

We photograph nearly all of our portrait sessions in natural light to produce clean, bright, fresh, and timeless images that look and feel like “you”. That’s why we schedule most of our sessions one or two hours before the scheduled sunset or just after the sunrise during “golden hour,” when the light is the dreamiest.  Thanks to the internet, we are able to determine the scheduled sunset/sunrise for the date and location for each session. The sun actually sets much earlier during the colder months of the year and much later during the warmer months, so timing our sessions is very important!  We always want to work with our client’s schedules, especially if they are working around sports practice schedules or evening work hours.

Usually seniors prefer to photograph their sessions in late summer or early fall.  That said, a few have used springtime as well and the soft colors of spring make for a beautiful backdrop.  Mid to late summer gives a beautiful and rich color to the backdrops which is one of our favorite parts of this session!  The light was absolutely perfect and we could not get enough of the gorgeous golden hour light.  The willow tree, the tall pines, and the grassy fields were the perfect setting to capture these two and we are so honored to have been able to document this sweet milestone for them!
