We can think of no better way to escape Minnesota’s cold and snowy weather than to head down to enjoy the sunshine in Southwest Florida! It’s an area we frequent and love to both explore and photograph! Bonita Springs was our home base this time around and it did not disappoint! It was warm, relaxing and an absolutely gorgeous change of scenery – exactly what we needed for a change of pace and a chance to refresh!

We spent most of our time relaxing pool-side in our cozy Airbnb. We also headed into Naples a few times to enjoy a famous donut burger (Shane’s favorite) from Brooks Burger, and a margherita pizza and bruschetta from the fabulous La Trattoria (Anna’s favorite). We took our time strolling along the shops of Naples’ 5th Avenue South. We even hit up Golf Safari Mini Golf for a few rounds and had a blast! We ended our trip with a drive down the coast to visit Marco Island. The drive was gorgeous with everything in full bloom and incredible vibrant colors everywhere! We soaked up the scenery all the way down to the end of Collier Boulevard. Favorites we discovered along the white sand coast included the stunning JW Marriott Beach Resort, Marco Beach Ocean Resort, and the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort. We have officially added all three to our bucket list for future trips! We stopped for a picnic at Caxambas Park before heading back up the coast to our home away from home.

Amidst all of the relaxation, we also took advantage of the gorgeous weather to film a few tutorials on photography gear for our fellow Canon-loving photographers! We started our very own YouTube channel and have loved sharing what we have learned over the years on all things Canon cameras, lenses, and gear! We would love for you to follow along!
