Taylor and Sean drove all the way to Minneapolis for their engagement session from one of our favorite cities: Chicago! We had scheduled their session for April, not knowing what Minnesota’s weather would bring. Little did we know, there would be yet another blizzard just a few days before their session! With February 2019, the Twin City’s snowiest February on record, behind us, we thought that winter had just about finished off. However, not to be outdone by last year’s April blizzard, the second weekend in April this year brought another 9 1/2 inches bringing this winter season’s snowfall to a record-setting 77 inches of snow!
Thankfully Taylor and Sean are AMAZING and even drove over a day early to be sure they made it here for the weekend. They were troopers and kept cozy throughout the session and we kept things moving as we strolled along Minneapolis’ St. Anthony Main stretch. We walked the streets and explored the areas around Machine Shop and the Minneapolis Event Center. We love the warehouse vibe of these areas and the diffused light for this session could not have been more perfect!
These two are such a beautiful couple!!! We absolutely LOVE the way Taylor’s green dress popped against the neutral brick backdrops and her shoes were amazing! Sean was looking classy in his suit coat and we loved the way his brown shoes and details tied everything in. We also loved the details they incorporated into their session – I mean, who does NOT love cupcakes!?!
We can’t wait for Taylor and Sean’s wedding this coming winter! Dare we say we are even hoping for snow?!? (while still allowing for safe travel for their guests, of course!) Whatever the weather ends up being in January 2020, we know for certain that their day will be elegant, classy, and absolutely gorgeous!
