Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot | Wedding

The Depot at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel is the perfect, romantic, elegant, and timeless wedding venue and Sara and Ryan couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for their wedding!  Everything from start to finish was beautifully planned and organized down to the last detail.  Nicole Lewis did a fabulous job coordinating the day and we loved working with her!  The day began with hair and makeup and Linnea and Molly did an amazing job working with the girls!  They were such a fun group and we absolutely loved the colors of their matching robes!

Sara’s dress, designed by Madison James, was from Posh Bridal and was stunning!  We loved the way it sparkled and flowed throughout the day!  One of our favorite details of this wedding were the bouquets.  Libby from Kohler and Dramm put together the most elegant white florals with just a hint of greens.  The portraits section of the day was a blast!  The wedding party was so fun to work with and the couple incorporated their sweet puppy into the day – making for some great laughs!

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the Winter Garden and entered the beautiful Great Hall for dinner.  The room was decorated beautifully thanks to Festivities and the Traveling Photo Booth was perfect to capture the guests as they mingled.  The cake, by The Thirsty Whale  was gorgeous and Nicholas from Generation Now did an amazing job as DJ!  We often get asked about reception timing and Sara and Ryan had a great flow to their day.  Their schedule looked like this:

  1. Cocktail hour
  2. Cake cutting (while people are moving to dinner)
  3. Grand entrance and introduction of the new Mr. & Mrs.
  4. Welcome and prayer
  5. Dinner and Speeches (Maid of Honor, Best Man, & Father of the Bride)
  6. First dances (Bride and Groom, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son)
  7. Open dance floor to end the evening

We loved this wedding and wish Sara and Ryan all the best in the years ahead!
