Tara first e-mailed us from Paris and we were so thankful that she and Anthony were able to meet and book their wedding shortly after returning. From the moment that we met, we had an instant connection and it’s been so much fun getting to know them! Both have been been nothing but sweet, kind, and encouraging throughout the entire process and we couldn’t wait to fly down to Florida for their engagement session! We actually ended up booking the same flight from MSP to TPA and ended up connecting on the trip down! We were half expecting to see them again as we scouted locations, but we parted ways from the airport and they stayed in a cute Airbnb nearby while we headed to North Redington Beach and stayed at the DoubleTree Beach Resort by Hilton.
Tara and Anthony are such a gorgeous couple and are friendly, outgoing, and head-over-heels in love! They got engaged on a camping trip at the North Shore. Their love of the water and all things nautical was an instant connection and we wanted to feature sailboats and the pier for their session. We started at the Yacht StarShip Cruise & Events and explored the docks among the yachts.
For their second outfit, we headed over to Clearwater Beach’s Pier 60 for some shots by the water. The ocean waves were rolling in beautifully and the soft, even light made this session a breeze! By the end, they decided to go all in and we got some epic shots in the water! We finished up and headed to a pizza place they recommended, the Gondolier Italian Restaurant, and couldn’t stop talking about how much fun we had with them at their session! We are all the more excited to continue the fun when we photograph their nautical themed wedding at the incredible Quarterdeck Resort this coming summer!
