Clearwater Beach, Florida | Destination Engagement

Lauren and Corey are getting married at the stunning Van Dusen Mansion next fall and we can not wait to be a part of their wedding day!  One of our favorite things about our job is hearing our couple’s stories of how they met, fell in love, and how they got engaged.  Corey proposed to Lauren during a Christmas Card photo shoot. She didn’t suspect a thing and her expression captured in the photos was priceless!  Capturing real and raw moments is such a thrill and we will never take for granted the honor of documenting the sweet season of being engaged, especially when we have the privilege of doing so in Florida!

We met Lauren and Corey at Sand Key Beach and jumped right in with photos along the various boardwalks.  Each was unique, and added a different feel to the palms and wooden walkways.  We knew that Lauren was looking for variety and the multiple outfits that she brought were fantastic – both she and Corey looked amazing!  Their colors were perfect for each setting and it was so much fun to see how each outfit worked with the variety of backdrops.

These two are so much fun together and we loved chatting and laughing with them throughout their session!  After a few photos along the waters’ edge, we headed down to the rock jetty at the far side of the beach to finish up.  As we were shooting, dolphins jumped out of the water just behind Lauren and Corey.  It was truly an epic end to an epic session!  We said our goodbyes and headed off to our hotel.  We stayed at the incredible Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas in Tampa to finish out our stay and were unbelievably grateful for the opportunity to travel and serve such amazing couples!
