Photographing weddings and portraits in two states has allowed us to connect with hundreds of couples from all over the U.S.  We actually first met Rachel at her family’s destination portrait session, and had the best time soaking up the sun with them in SW Florida!  When she and Joe reached out to book their wedding in Minneapolis, we couldn’t wait to connect again!  The two were planning an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends, and we had no doubt their celebration would be amazing!

Their big day had finally arrived, and the morning began at the incredible Hewing Hotel where Rachel and Joe prepared with family and friends.  We started out by capturing the details, including Rachel’s gorgeous bouquet by Artemisia Studio, while she finished up with SM Hair + Makeup.  She put on her stunning dress from Anna Be’ Bridal Boutique, and we stepped outside for her first look with Joe.  These two are absolutely perfect for each other, and it was such an honor documenting both their engagement session and wedding in the city that holds such sweet memories!

We travelled to Minneapolis City Hall with Star Transportation, and continued capturing portraits throughout its breathtaking halls.  Family and friends joined us for photos before gathering for the ceremony on the steps.  Rachel and Joe tied the knot and exited all-smiles as the newest Mr. and Mrs.!  They celebrated afterwards with drinks at one of Joe’s favorite spots – Runyon’s before heading to Butcher and the Boar for their reception.  After guests enjoyed dinner and speeches, we snuck away for a few golden hour photos to end the evening.  Rachel and Joe, your day was complete perfection, and we are beyond excited for your next adventures in Japan!  We wish you all the very best in the many years to come!
