We simply can’t get enough of this beautiful fall weather, and have had the best time photographing family portrait sessions!  Whether they be for families we have known for years, or for those we have had the pleasure of meeting for the first time, we are honored to photograph families and document each unique stage of life.  We know how fast time flies, and how quickly babies grow up, and capturing moments like these is truly such a joy!

It was five years ago that we first met Sara and Jack over coffee to chat about wedding plans.  They are the sweetest couple ever, and we were so excited to connect for their fall engagement session in Taylors Falls.  The two were married in a beautiful private vow ceremony the following summer, and we had a blast celebrating with them along with their family and friends!  They have now added an adorable baby boy to their family, and we couldn’t wait to connect again!   

We arrived for their session on an absolutely gorgeous evening, ready to capture portraits surrounded by the brick backdrops of downtown Anoka.  There is something incredibly sweet about photographing babies.  The newness of it all is so exciting for parents, and the joy in their eyes as they soak up each new phase is so much fun to capture!  Sara and Jack’s son completely knocked it out of the park for their session.  From his tiny brown shoes, to his precious little grin, he could not have been more adorable. He was all smiles, and had the cutest expressions as we explored the streets together.  We are so grateful to have been able to document this season of life for them, and we are beyond excited for Sara and Jack as they continue to watch their son grow!
