Jake and Emily met freshman year during Welcome Week at Bethel University. This was just one of the many instant connections we made while getting to know these two! We actually share the same “how we met” story – only ours took place on the other side of the lake, at the University of Northwestern! Some say that our schools are rivals, but we see them as friends :). Shane even completed his Masters Degree at Bethel and loved it!

These two are the sweetest couple ever! Their big day began at the beautiful Blaisdell Mansion in Minneapolis. This venue is one of our favorites – Janet and Kaira are absolutely amazing to work with – they are an incredible team and every single detail of the day was perfect! We fell in love with their bridal suite from the moment we began the day. All. the. light!!! Erin Dennison of The Wedding Stylists did a beautiful job with the ladies hair and Emily’s gown from the Wedding Shoppe was stunning! We loved her details and her gorgeous flowers by Carmen Carter from the Cutting Garden provided the perfect pop of color for the day!

We danced in and out avoiding the rain until 10,000 Lakes Limo arrived to bring everyone to Grace Church in Eden Prairie for the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and we were even able to take a few photos by the campus’ lake. Afterward, it was back to the Blaisdell for the cake cutting, provided by Buttercream, the reception, and the dance, DJed by Midwest Sound. The sun even peaked out just in time for some gorgeous golden-hour shots! It was truly an honor to serve this couple and to meet their families! We wish them all the best in the many years ahead and hope that Aruba was the perfect way to kick off your new adventure together!!!
