We love a good love story and Melissa and Nick have a beautiful one.  These two met and fell in love in high school, attended college together, and their wedding day took place on their 7 year anniversary!  In the past year, they graduated together, planned the perfect wedding day, and moved to the sunny state of Florida!  We were so honored to have been able to capture their engagement photos in both Minnesota and Florida and could not wait for their big day to arrive.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Rolling Ridge Wedding and Event Center.  Every single detail from start to finish was perfect from Palindrome on hair, to Taylor Marie Beauty on makeup, to each of the personalized touches Melissa had tied into her day.  Her mom helped her into her gorgeous dress by Martina Liana from Raffiné Bridal and shortly after, it was time for her first looks with her father and Nick.  We captured a few portraits together before the wedding party joined us and wow, do these friends know how to have fun!  This group was a blast to work with and everyone looked fabulous in their dresses by Sorella Vita and the men in their suits from Men’s Wearhouse.

Both the ceremony and reception were gorgeous thanks to Ultimate Events, the stunning florals by Kay’s Bouquets, and the rustic cake by the Thirsty Whale Bakery.  Sunset Blue Productions captured countless sweet moments on video, from the couple’s bonsai tree ritual in the ceremony to the surprise Ultimate Frisbee game in the reception. The evening came to a close with Complete Weddings & Events hosting the most epic dance party ever!  We are beyond excited for these two as they begin this new chapter together, and we know that Bora Bora in French Polynesia will be the perfect place to celebrate as newlyweds this coming winter!
