Capturing Rachel and Joe’s engagement session couldn’t have been a more perfect way to wrap up our year!  Not only are these two the sweetest couple ever, but we actually started out the year by photographing a session for Rachel’s family down in Southwest Florida!  We met at the Yacht Club in Cape Coral and had the best time capturing portraits on the beach.  When Rachel reached out to book her wedding and engagement session with Joe, we were incredibly honored and so excited to connect again!

We began their session at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis before setting off to explore St. Anthony Main. With the area’s variety in brick and natural backdrops, along with its epic views of the city, it is truly an ideal location for portraits in any weather.  These two braved the brisk winter temps, and both looked amazing bundled up in their classy coats. They are absolutely perfect together and their smiles and laughter were a complete joy to capture! We explored a bit before their puppy joined us for photos. She did such a great job, and it was so much fun to incorporate her into the session. 

As we finished up, we headed out onto the Stone Arch Bridge for some photos with the skyline. The bridge is almost always filled with people, but with the colder weather we were thrilled to have it all to ourselves for some gorgeous shots with the city!  We couldn’t have had a better time with Rachel and Joe and are so happy for them as they plan their big day! We can hardly wait to capture their wedding in Minneapolis this coming spring. Their day will no doubt be filled with joy, and we are beyond excited to be a part of their beautiful celebration!
