We absolutely love our couples, and meeting their friends and families at weddings is truly such a joy!  Jill was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed a few years ago, and when she and Jarett reached out to check our availability before booking their own date, we were incredibly honored!  They are the sweetest couple ever, and we were so excited to connect again at their engagement session.  They were hoping for photos with both water and brick backdrops, and we knew Stillwater would be the perfect location.

The evening of their session could not have been more breathtaking, and we had the best time together as we explored downtown Stillwater.  These two were up for anything, and completely rocked their session!  Both of Jill’s dresses were gorgeous, and she and Jarett looked amazing in their dressy and casual outfits.  They coordinated beautifully with the setting, and we loved their neutral hues.  We discovered a few new areas in Stillwater, and pulled out all the stops on creative shots with double exposures and lighting.  To say this session was fun is an understatement, and we couldn’t wait to share their images!

It has been so much fun getting to know Jill and Jarett – they are literally perfect for each other! Originally from Virginia and Michigan, they now call the Twin Cities home.  They met through work seven years ago, fell in love, and Jarett surprised Jill by proposing just before her birthday.  The two enjoy traveling together, and can’t wait to host their family and friends for their big day next summer!  They are planning their dream wedding at the incredible A’BULAE in St. Paul, and we have no doubt their day will be amazing!  We are beyond excited to connect again, and to continue capturing their love story!
