It seems as if it were yesterday that we checked in at The Westin Cape Coral Resort in Cape Coral’s Tarpon Point Marina.  We had travelled down from Minnesota to spend some time photographing in Fort Myers, Florida.  Little did we know, that just a few short years later, we would call Florida our home-away-from-home and be serving couples and families as they vacation in Southwest Florida!  We would have certainly never imagined that we would one day be hosting family in our own home in Florida, and that we would have the honor of capturing a senior portraits session for our nephew in the very same Marina!

Jack and his family had road-tripped down from Iowa, and we couldn’t wait for them to arrive!  While the snow had begun to melt up north, it’s pretty tough to beat 80’s and sunny with everything in bloom down here!  We spent the week soaking up the beaches of Boca Grande, Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach, and Lovers Key State Park.  We swam in the pool, ate great food, enjoyed amazing company, and even had time to squeeze in a Senior session!

Senior Portraits are some of our favorite sessions to photograph.  Documenting such a fun milestone is always such an honor! Celebrating 18 years of life, 12 years of school, and countless memories filled with family, friends, activities, and hobbies is a pretty big deal if you ask us!  Jack is incredibly gifted academically, artistically, athletically, musically, and is an all-around class act!  We know first-hand how much he means to his parents and siblings, and to our own kids – he is most definitely a role model!  Jack, we can hardly believe you are a Senior; and we are beyond honored to be a part of this season of your life!
