We absolutely love it when couples are up for an adventure, and exploring Taylors Falls is one of our favorite things to do in the fall!  Not only do we get to share the beauty of the great outdoors together, but we also get the chance to get to know some of the most wonderful people!  Everyone knows that we love a good love story, and getting to hear Ashley and Dan’s was so much fun!

Ashley met Dan at a New Years Eve party a few years ago, and it didn’t take long for them to realize they were perfect for each other!  These two are all for adventuring in nature.  They love hiking and the mountains, so when it came time to pop the question, Dan knew just where to propose. He had picked out Ashley’s ring, and planned to ask her to marry him on a trip to Colorado. It was there, within Colorado’s breathtaking mountains, that Dan asked Ashley to be his bride.  They began planning their wedding, and reached out to us to book their engagement session in, what we consider to be Minnesota’s “mountains” – Taylors Falls.  They both love spending time here, and it was the perfect place for their fall engagement session!

We had such a great time together as we hiked over the rock cliffs along the St. Croix River’s edge.  These two are such a sweet, genuine, and kind couple, and we chatted about work and wedding plans as we walked.  They are planning a beautiful backyard wedding for next fall, and we could not be more excited for them as they plan their big day!  We have no doubt it will be amazing, and hope that they have the best time celebrating surrounded by all of their family and friends!
