It seems like it was just yesterday that we were strolling the streets of Minneapolis with Heather and Cole, soaking up the warm weather on a gorgeous summer evening. Photographing their engagement session was so much fun and we could hardly wait for their wedding day to arrive. Cole had proposed to Heather on a balcony overlooking the city on a snowy winter day and it was so special to meet them at their Airbnb mansion in Minneapolis to kick off their winter wedding day.
We began with the ladies as they prepared for the day with the incredibly talented Styled By Abbi on hair and makeup. The girls had a blast together in their matching red flannels. Heather’s mom helped her into her stunning gown from Bridal Accents Couture by Martina Liana and she looked absolutely gorgeous! The tears began as she saw her father for the first time and continued through the sweetest first look with Cole. The two spoke quietly as they shared a moment together realizing that their wedding day had finally arrived. Following a few photos together with their families, we headed over to Semple Mansion for more portraits before the ceremony began.
Semple Mansion is such a breathtaking venue and the perfect place for portraits in the bridal suite. The ladies looked gorgeous in their dresses from Azazie and David’s Bridal, and Artemisia Studios did an amazing job on their bouquets! Landon Oldenburger Videography captured countless beautiful moments including Heather’s Grandpa reading scripture during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we headed out for golden hour photos and it was totally worth braving the cold! We ended the evening, surrounded by their closest family and friends, sharing a meal and speeches filled with laughter and tears. Heather and Cole, it was truly an honor to be welcomed into your family to celebrate with you! We hope Hawaii is every bit as beautiful as your wedding day was!
