We absolutely love the beauty of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and, while we have only previously photographed there in the summer and fall, winter provides a truly unique experience! No other location can provide both the stunning backdrops of sunshine seeping through bright green leaves, surrounded by lush and vibrant colors, and also, just steps away, the beauty of the backdrop of winter’s white snow. It truly provides the best of both worlds, and we couldn’t be happier that Peter and Josette have chosen the Landscape Arboretum as their wedding venue!
After spending time photographing sessions in Florida this past month, we could not think of a better way to return to Minnesota than to spend it inside the gorgeous warm Meyer Deats Conservatory. While the temps in Minnesota have been dipping well below zero, the day of Josette and Peter’s engagement session warmed up to a balmy zero degrees outside! These two completely embraced their love of Minnesota weather as they braved the cold for some super fun shots outside. We are so happy they did!
Josette and Peter are seriously amazing! They are so much fun to hang out with, and getting to know them and their story has been such a treat. They met, fell in love, and within months they knew they were meant to be. Peter designed Josette’s gorgeous ring and proposed in January. From the moment they contacted us about photographing their wedding, they have been incredibly gracious, and so encouraging to work with. We love the pure joy and excitement they radiate as they plan for their big day, and they have the most amazing friends and family who can’t wait to celebrate with them this spring. We had the best time together and are already counting down the days until their wedding!
