Emily and Shane are the sweetest couple!  From the moment we first connected with Emily, we completely fell in love.  Her e-mails were so kind, and we were so honored when she shared that she had been following us on Instagram and had chosen us to photograph her wedding long before she was engaged!  We are totally blown away by these two.  Both are nurses and work in NICU and Pediatrics so its no surprise that they are incredibly kind, caring, and have hearts of gold! They drove all the way up from Rochester for their Taylors Falls engagement session, and in spite of the chilly winter temps, they completely rocked their session! Both looked amazing and their blues, greens, and neutral colors were absolutely perfect for the setting!

Taylors Falls is gorgeous in any season, and is extra special to these two as it’s where they got engaged!  When we reached the exact spot that Shane had gotten down on one knee to propose, we knew we had to reenact the big moment.  We had a blast together as we quickly moved from spot to spot trying our best to keep warm as we enjoyed the beauty of the St. Croix Valley.  Emily and Shane’s friend, Charlie, joined us with their Golden Retriever puppies, Finn and Murphy.  They did amazing and were full of energy as they happily explored the snow.

Emily and Shane were so much fun to get to know and we can’t wait for their wedding day!  They will be getting married at the incredible 3 Ten Event Venue in Faribault this fall.   We love the character and charm of their venue and it will be absolutely gorgeous in the fall!  We are so excited to connect with their friends and families and celebrate with them as they say “I Do”!
