We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.  This anonymous quote perfectly sums up one of the reasons we love what we get to do.  Life is an adventure and capturing that adventure is our passion!  Rachel and Jake are no strangers to adventure, and getting to know their story has been so much fun!  When Jake, one of the most kind, down to earth guys you’ll ever meet, met Rachel, an avid world-traveler with six continents, and counting, checked off her bucket list, both knew it was meant to be!  Their adventures together began as they celebrated their engagement in Paris and have many more travels planned ahead!

These two are incredibly gracious and after a few times of rescheduling, we ended up meeting on one of the most gorgeous summer evenings at the beautiful Interstate State Park and immediately set off to explore!  Rachel looked stunning in her long flowing gown and her hair and makeup were nothing short of perfection!  Jake’s suit was perfect and we loved the way his colors coordinated with Rachel’s floral dress.  We had such a great time together and can’t wait for their wedding day!

From their very first email, to their engagement session, we have completely fallen in love with this sweet couple!  Their encouraging emails continue to brighten our day and we are so humbled by their words: “I can’t tell you how glad we are already that we have you as our photography team, not only on the day, but supporting us with such great info and kindness until then as well! Jake and I just keep saying to each other how lucky we feel to have found you both!” We are beyond grateful for their kindness and we can’t wait to celebrate with them at the beautiful Bavaria Downs this fall!
