Machine Shop, Minneapolis | Engagement

We can’t begin to explain how much it means to us to be able to serve our couples again after such a challenging start to the year.  Being able to be back photographing in Minneapolis at the gorgeous Machine Shop is something we certainly don’t take for granted!  Distancing has given us a fresh appreciation for connection and we are so thankful for all of the ways we have gotten to meet and serve our couples!  We are incredibly grateful for the connections we’ve made over the years and couldn’t be happier to be serving the most joyful, romantic, and genuine couples ever!

It was actually Adam’s mom who first connected Abby with her son a few years ago.  Abby and Adam hit it off from the beginning, and with their love of the outdoors, golfing, and visiting national parks, their relationship began with a walk in the woods.  Before they knew it, they had fallen in love and it was within those same woods that Adam surprised Abby by asking her to marry him!  We met Abby and Adam one week later at Abby’s sister’s wedding and immediately fell in love with them and their family!  These two are genuine, joyful, and their love for each other is absolutely beautiful!

As a teacher, it was Abby’s first day of summer break when we met for their engagement session.  She and Adam looked amazing as they kicked off summer and all that lies ahead!  We began their session by capturing their gorgeous smiles among Machine Shop’s white and neutral backdrops.  Their outfits were simply perfect!  We finished their session down along St. Anthony Main with our favorite skyline shot as the sun began to set surrounding them in perfect golden light.  We had the best time exploring together and we are beyond excited to capture their destination wedding in sunny Arizona!
