Getting engaged is one of the most exciting moments of life!  We remember it like it was yesterday.  Shane getting down on one knee and Anna enthusiastically squealing “Yes!”  It was the best, and by far the easiest, decision we’ve ever made!  Those first few days always seem to fly by in a flurry of sharing the news with family and friends.  Following the announcement and celebrations, it’s time to get down to business and start wedding planning.  One of the first things we recommend checking off the list is your venue followed by your wedding photographer!

When Brittany and Bernie first contacted us, they were only a few short days in as fiancés!  Before their date was even set, they were inquiring about our openings.  There is no greater honor than when a couple and their families trust us enough to capture their day that they work their wedding date around our schedule!  We were beyond excited to book their wedding and couldn’t wait for their engagement session at the Hansen Tree Farm in Anoka!

Despite the chilly temps, and being on the mend from sickness, Brittany and Bernie were all in for having some fun in the snow!  They brought their sweet pup, Chloe along who was amazing to work with.  We loved her black and white fluffy fur!  The Hansen Tree Farm couldn’t have been a better setting and the greens and browns of Brittany and Bernie’s outfits worked perfectly with the trees and popped against the white snow.  These two definitely know how to have a good time together and their chemistry was incredible!  They are such a fun couple and we laughed throughout the entire session. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day and we are beyond excited to continue the fun at their wedding this summer!
