St. Paul | Winter Engagement

It’s hard to believe we are already a few weeks in to 2020!  We have so many upcoming weddings and amazing couples we can’t wait to serve this year!  The start to a new year is always such an exciting time of planning and preparing for adventures ahead and we are so happy for each of our couples as they plan for and anticipate their big day!  Their wedding year is finally here!  We love meeting with our couples for the first time and sitting down for coffee to hear about their story and the details of their wedding day.  Jackie and Chris were the first couple we met with in 2020 and we had a blast chatting about how they met, what they love to do together, and about their upcoming wedding.

Jackie and Chris are such a kind couple and have been amazing to work with!  They knew they wanted to incorporate one of their favorite spots in St. Paul, The Barrel Theory, into their engagement session.  Their space is awesome and the staff were kind enough to let us explore a bit taking photos throughout the building.  We finished inside and headed out to explore the snowy alleyways of St. Paul.  We strolled along, chatting and laughing as we headed to Rice Park to get a few shots near the Landmark Center.  There is just something about the Landmark Center in the wintertime that is especially romantic and we ended the session just as their twinkle lights were beginning to glow.

We had such a great time together and we can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at the The American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis.  The incredible mansion, located on the Golden Mile of Park Avenue, is absolutely breathtaking and will be the perfect backdrop for their beautiful spring wedding!
