Nicole and Nate are hilarious and completely perfect for each other!  It has been so much fun to get to know them and be a part of their destination wedding adventure at the beautiful Lutsen Resort.  They planned an incredible fall weekend away for their friends and family and we couldn’t wait to head north for their big day!

The morning began with the ladies in the Nelson Suite as they finished up hair and makeup with the incredible Kaitlyn and Jacqui of Captivating Beauty.  The laughter had already begun and continued with the men in the Poplar Condos as they put on their suits from The Black Tux.  We kicked off photos with a few of the men and wow, do these guys know how to have fun!  We headed back inside just as Nicole was putting on her dress from A&Bé by Hayley Paige.  She looked gorgeous and her flowers by Saffron & Grey were the perfect touch with their bold, fall colors.

Nate’s reaction to seeing Nicole was truly an unforgettable moment and, being the awesome couple that they are, they were totally up for exploring along the shore for photos!  There are endless opportunities for epic shots along Lake Superior’s beach and we finished up just in time for the ceremony to begin.  There were so many sweet moments of laughter and tears throughout the ceremony including the entrance of their ring bearer, flower girl, and of course their pup, Mille!

Family portraits followed the ceremony along with a wedding party toast!  The fall colors were incredible and we headed out to the beach just as the sun was setting.  We loved the way the ladies’ dresses from Azazie flowed in the golden light!  We headed in for the reception in the Strand Waterfront Dining room where guests enjoyed dinner, speeches and desserts by Rustic Inn Cafe.  Euphoric Entertainment hosted an epic dance to end the night and we were so honored to have been a part of such an incredible day!
