Paxton and Cameron met as college students at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. We can’t think of a more romantic setting to meet, fall in love, and get engaged than along the beautiful shores of Duluth. Cameron knew Paxton was the one and when he decided to pop the question, he invited their families to one of our favorite spots: Canal Park. Despite the pouring rain, he asked Paxton to join him on a walk out toward the lighthouse. Standing in the rain together, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife! Of course, she immediately said yes! Paxton is kind, fun, and energetic! She has a heart of gold and her career as a teacher is the perfect fit for her sweet spirit! As soon as we booked their fall session, we couldn’t wait for their day to arrive!
We had the most beautiful, sunny morning for their Minneapolis session and we kicked things off along the rivers’ edge. The leaves provided the most amazing texture as we strolled along St. Anthony Main. Paxton’s gorgeous white lace dress was stunning and paired perfectly with Cameron’s navy suit! We headed up to the Stone Arch Bridge for their next outfit and we loved the way their colors worked with the city skyline.
With the sunshine streaming through the trees, we finished up among the leaves and they both commented on how quickly the session flew by and how much they really enjoyed it! We actually hear the same thing from quite a few of our grooms – it truly is surprising how time flies when you are having fun! Before we know it, their summer wedding day will arrive and we can’t wait to celebrate with them at the beautiful InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront Hotel!
