Stepping onto the grounds of the Linden Hill Historic Estate is like stepping back in time. Weddings there, in any season, are stunning surrounded by beauty and classical romance. Bookshelves contain the literature from the time period and an old grandfather clock counts the years gone by, rich in history. Walking up the steps of the Musser mansion, portraits of the former tenants line the walls. At the top of the stairs, you find the master bedroom where sunlight streams through delicate drapery creating the most dreamy setting for a bridal suite. It was here that Jessi’s sister helped her into her breathtaking gown by Kittychen from Alan Evans Bridal. Its laced sleeves and ties in the back were stunning. The bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous and we loved how the rich color was perfect for fall. Jessi’s mom helped her into her shoes and the day was off to a beautiful start.
Meanwhile, Zach and his groomsmen dressed for the day wearing dapper navy suits and brown leather shoes. We photographed the men and Zach’s family followed by Jessi’s family and her bridesmaids before their ceremony began among the majestic oak trees. Linden Hill’s grounds are incredible and the perfect setting for outdoor photos among the lush gardens, the tall trees, and along the lakeside. Jessi and Zach are the sweetest couple and it was so much fun celebrating with their family and friends!
Following portraits, the wedding party gathered for the outdoor reception set just in front of the two historic mansions. As the sun set, guests enjoyed dinner, speeches, and dancing among the twinkling lights of the porch. Linden Hills couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for Jessi and Zach’s romantic wedding and we are so honored to have been able to capture their day for them!
