Jessica and Adam are amazing and joined us last winter for their engagement session in the snow. When their wedding day at the historic Summit Manor mansion began, and we were about to head out for portraits, a light mist began to fall outside. These two were AMAZING and quickly stated that if they could handle outdoor photos on a single-digit degree day, they were up for ANYTHING! Just the words a photographer loves to hear! Not only were they up for anything, they were incredibly kind, filled with joy, and their love for each other was absolutely beautiful!
The morning began in the bridal suite and Mirabella Studio did a beautiful job on hair and makeup! Jessica’s dress by Allure Couture was from Effie’s Bridal Trunk and the detailing was absolutely stunning. Just after putting on her gown and shoes she began to open several thoughtful gifts that Adam had prepared for her. Joining Adam as he put on his suit from Heimie’s Haberdashery, excitement was running high as he prepared to see his beautiful bride walk down the steps of the manor. From the moment they saw each other, they could not stop smiling and we began portraits around the manor and along the European-like streets as we explored the red brick alleys with ivy laden walls. The light was amazing and Artemisia Studios did a phenomenal job on the flowers. The bright colors added the perfect punch to the day.
The outdoor ceremony began followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and incredible desserts by Cafe Latte. Following speeches by the couple’s families, Preenon from Adagio Day Entertainment did an amazing job hosting the dance. Jessica and Adam, you were a dream to work with and we hope you are enjoying Lake Tahoe. We are excited for your next adventure to New Zealand this winter!
