Family is something that we are incredibly grateful for.  It’s a gift that we often take for granted and one that shapes us in ways we will never be able to fully understand.  We both grew up in families with three girls.  Sisters are so. much. fun!  Yes, there can be drama here and there, but really, sisters can be like built-in best friends who will be there to share life’s ups and downs forever!

These girls know how to have fun together!  We have been photographing their family for years now and it has been so much fun to watch them grow!  This past winter, we braved the cold and got some great shots of the girls in their hockey gear.  Don’t let these beautiful, sweet smiles fool you, these girls know how to hold their own!  🙂  And personality?  Well, when you are the youngest of three girls, you know how to both melt hearts and turn life into the party that it is meant to be!  Each one of these girls is amazing and it’s so much fun to see their different personalities shine through the photos!

We had a blast at this session, strolling through the streets of downtown Anoka.  We found the perfect white backdrop to grab a few portraits before heading over to use the texture of the ivy walls and the brightly colored brick backdrops.  These girls are naturals in front of the camera and made this session a breeze!  Their bright colors and bold patterns in each of their outfits were absolutely perfect for this beautiful, summer evening.  The session ended with a gorgeous sunset and we couldn’t wait to share their photos with them!  This family has such a sweet relationship with each other and we are so honored to be able to capture that for them!
