Couples that play together, stay together, and these two are a match made in heaven!  From the moment they met, James knew Megan was the catch of a lifetime and the two went fishing together on their first date.  The competition was on!  James may have underestimated Megan’s skills because she outfished him that night and the two quickly realized they were hooked for life.  They have fished together ever since on adventures in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado, Missouri, and Montana with more to come!  We had so much fun incorporating fishing into their engagement session and couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding!  

Megan and James are such a sweet, fun, and joy-filled couple and they truly enjoyed every moment of their wedding!  The Rustic Oaks Barn in Brownton, MN was the perfect venue for their day!  The bridesmaids were so much fun and Melanie and Hannah did an amazing job on hair and makeup!  Megan’s beautiful dress was from Bridal Aisle Boutique and her bridesmaid dresses were from Azazie.  Megan did an incredible job putting together the florals she purchased from the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market!  The bright, cheerful colors were gorgeous and fit the day perfectly!  The men’s suits were from The Foursome and James had even crafted custom fishing lure boutonnieres for the men!  Every creative detail showcased their love for fishing and each other!  

The day was sunny and beautiful – perfect for their outdoor ceremony.  The guests enjoyed a “love boat” photo booth and dinner catered by Larson Catering.  Deb put together a gorgeous cake and DJ Buzz hosted the dance getting everyone out on the dance floor and having a great time!  Megan and James, your wedding was so much fun and we hope that you are enjoying every bit of the mountains both in Montana and Banff, Canada!
