Naples, Florida is one of our favorite places on earth.  When Melissa and Matt contacted us about photographing their engagement session in Naples we couldn’t wait!  When they asked if they could incorporate their airplane, we were THRILLED!  Photographing an engagement session at an airport hangar has been a dream of Shane’s since we first started our business and every detail about this session was a dream come true!

Melissa and Matt are two of the sweetest, most down-to-earth, kind, and adventurous people we have met!  Melissa was bursting with joy from the moment we arrived to begin their session.  Featuring one of the couple’s favorite trees, we began the session and were blown away by how natural they were with each other and how sweet Matt was with his beautiful bride-to-be.  Even the couple’s dog, Wyatt, did amazing and seemed to love being the star of the show!

We continued the session just minutes away, at Naples Bay Resort and Marina, one of our favorite venues to photograph.  The light was perfect as the sun slowly went down over the yachts in the marina.  The colors of the buildings perfectly coordinated with the couple’s outfits!  We captured the attention of an older couple strolling by who remarked on how beautiful young love was!

We raced the sun over to the Naples airport to capture photographs with Matt’s airplane.  This was the very plane that he flew Melissa up to the north shore to propose to her and we fell in love with this couple all over again hearing their story over dinner at the incredible Timeless Eatery.  Getting to know our couples is always an honor and we are blown away as we hear their stories, about their hobbies, what they love, and what they are passionate about.  We are so thankful that our job allows us to meet so many amazing people and we can’t wait to photograph Melissa & Matt’s wedding this coming fall!
