Haylie and Bobby’s engagement session was incredibly special to us. Haylie was the very first person we photographed when we first launched our business! To be able to photograph her engagement session was such a full-circle moment for us and we are so honored to be able to serve this family again! Haylie’s mom joined us for their session to hang out with their dogs and it was so much fun to chat about how much our business has grown since we first began! We absolutely love this family and can’t wait to celebrate with them at the wedding next summer!

Haylie and Bobby are such a sweet couple and were so great work with! We moved from the trees to the field and back to the trees throughout the evening and they totally rocked every setting! There’s something dreamy about the woods blanketed in colorful fallen leaves – it’s one of our favorite natural settings for fall photos! It’s hard to beat the rich colors of fall for gorgeous backdrops. When you add the fact that the fresh crisp air does wonders for hair and makeup, it’s no surprise that Minnesota couples LOVE using fall for their engagement sessions!

Haylie’s rustic, plaid top and her pastel sweater were the perfect fit for both the wooded areas and the field! Soft sweaters in light pastels make for a very dreamy look – especially when surrounded in beautiful golden light – and a pop of plaid is always the perfect way to give off an autumn vibe for a more rustic look.

We can’t wait to photograph their rustic wedding at Creekside Farm in Rush City! We love photographing weddings at new venues and Creekside Farm, a setting surrounded by nature and secluded on 50 acres with rolling hills, mature trees, and open fields sounds like the perfect setting to us!
