Ashley and Sam are the sweetest couple ever!  It was January when we first connected with them over coffee and loved hearing all about their summer wedding plans for Hope Community Church in Minneapolis and Hyland Hills Ski Area in Bloomington.  The big day finally arrived and they, alongside their wedding party of 22 of their closest family and friends, were brimming with joy and laughter!  The girls were so sweet as they began the day with hair and makeup and we adored their vibrant red dresses!  Meghan at Joy Unspeakable created the most gorgeous bouquets to compliment the colors of the day.  While the joy when the ladies saw Ashley in her dress for the first time was beautiful, Ashley’s dad’s first look was our favorite.  The tears in his eyes, and the way he looked at his little girl as he twirled her around the room, made for the sweetest moment ever.

Following a few photos of the girls and Ashley’s family, we joined the men for the groomsmen photos.  These guys were a blast to work with!  We could have hung out all morning but couldn’t wait for the ceremony to begin and for Sam to see Ashley for the first time as she walked down the aisle.  The big reveal was worth the wait.  Sam’s tears and Ashley’s joyful smile were breathtaking.  We can’t wait to see what Josh Flom Videography captured from the day!  Yum! Kitchen created a gorgeous cake and the evening ended with dinner, speeches, dancing, and our favorite – the sparkler exit!

Just before heading off to their honeymoon in Iceland, we received the sweetest e-mail from Ashley and Sam: “You guys are truly the best and we feel so spoiled by your talent and genuine care for us! We’ve heard nothing but the highest praise for how good all of our photos turned out. You are the greatest!”  We feel incredibly honored to serve the greatest couples in the world!
