Pure. Joy.  Laura & Sam’s wedding day was an absolute blast!  Laura’s bubbly personality and the way that she and Sam interacted along with one of the most fun wedding parties ever, made this day a dream to photograph!

Phresh Spa Salon did an amazing job on hair and makeup and the ladies got ready at St. Thomas More.  We loved Laura’s big reveal to her bridesmaids – it’s so fun to celebrate with your friends when you finally put the dress on for your big day!  Peg Kennedy provided absolutely stunning bouquets!  We couldn’t get over how perfectly Laura’s bouquet complimented her Wedding Shoppe dress and loved the way the colors popped against the blue backdrop of a few of the portrait shots.  Can’t you just FEEL Laura’s joy through her laughter!?!

As we continued the portrait section of the day, we moved on to wedding party photos.  The girl’s dresses all came from The Wedding Shoppe and we absolutely loved the colors!  This wedding party was incredible to work with – they were such good sports as we hiked up to take photos with a waterfall!  We could have taken photos all afternoon – it was so much fun!

The ceremony was at St. Thomas More Catholic Church – always a stunning place to photograph!  The vaulted ceilings and architecture are truly a work of art and every angle is simply epic!  We can’t think of a more perfect way to exit this venue than a beautifully sunny run through hundreds of guests blowing bubbles.  Following a few more photo stops, we arrived at Mendakota Country Club for the reception.  The Grateful Table provided a beautiful cake and Midwest Sound did a great job for the dance!  We even had the perfect golden-hour end to the evening!  We are so excited for Laura & Sam as they enjoy life as newlyweds!
