We absolutely love our couples and when we first met Lexi and Andrew we knew they would be a blast to work with! Their wedding day was amazing in every way! Minneapolis’ Warehouse District provided endless photo opportunities and their venue, Day Block Event Center was the perfect setting for their urban/warehouse/industrial wedding! We love pairing industrial backdrops with the elegance of a wedding gown and florals – the details just pop! Lexi’s lace gown couldn’t have been more perfect for her, and we loved the way her bouquet coordinated with Andrew’s tie!
We began the day at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Minneapolis. The girls added a perfect pop of color to the day from the very start with their floral robes. The morning was filled with hair, makeup, and a few candid moments caught on Polaroid. Sharing the morning of your wedding day with your best friends is the best and these two had such a fun wedding party! The men were a few doors down and we snapped a few photos before heading down to 1st Street & 2nd Avenue – one of our all-time favorite spots Minneapolis photo spots! The first look was incredible and after letting the Lexi and Andrew enjoy the moment, we began our stroll along the streets grabbing shots at all the best spots around Aria, Spoon & Stable, and the Foundry Home Goods storefronts.
We headed back to Day Block for family photos and before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! The day unfolded beautifully and we loved capturing every minute of it! We couldn’t wait to deliver their photos and re-tell the story of their day! One of our favorite parts of delivering wedding images to our couples is hearing their immediate reaction. Here are Lexi’s words that completely made our day! “Wow you guys! Such quick turnaround time! Thank you😀 We could not be more thrilled with the photos. They made us laugh and cry, and took us back on another journey through that day.We can’t get enough of the great shots you captured, so much so that we keep going through them!! Thank you for doing such an amazing job and for being so wonderful to work with throughout this whole process.”
