We LOVE doing engagement sessions with adventurous couples who love to integrate a part of who they are into their session.  Lauren & Nick decided to head down to the Depot for a bit of ice skating fun for their engagement session!  As their site states: “This is the historic Milwaukee Road Depot: your year-round destination to meet, stay, play and explore – all from the comfort of two Minneapolis hotels by Marriott walking distance from the US Bank Stadium.”  Sounds like the perfect, convenient place to explore and stay to us!  These two were a blast to spend the morning with and they even decided to bring along their sweet puppy to their session!

We love integrating pets into our sessions but do recommend that a friend or family member joins the party and tags along to hold the leash and take care of the pet when it is not featured in the photos.  We love the way each couple’s pet fits them perfectly and seems to be the funnest prop of the session!

As we strolled the streets of Minneapolis, though it was cold, these two didn’t seem to notice a bit!  The way Nick looked at Lauren was the sweetest thing and one of our favorite reasons we love doing what we do!  Capturing the short but sweet stage of being engaged is so much fun and it totally reminds us of the way we felt for each other when we met as college students!  We couldn’t take our eyes off each other and the world seemed to blur as we spent hours upon late-night hours talking about anything and everything and dreaming about the life that we hope to one day have!  We wish we could tell every engaged couple the truth about marriage – that it really does get better with age!  The more time you spend truly getting to know and serving your spouse, the more you fall in love all over again!
