The incredible Bloom Lake Barn in Shafer could not have been a more perfect place to host Maren and Austin’s big day!  Their team was phenomenal to work with, and they ensured every single detail was nothing short of perfection!  The ladies had spent the morning in the bridal suite preparing with Hair by J. Lu, and we captured photos in their matching pjs along with documenting the details including rings from Helzberg Diamonds.  Maren put on her gorgeous gown from Our Shop Bridal and stepped outside to meet her groom.  The two shared the sweetest first look and private vows before we set off to explore the grounds for portraits.

The wedding party joined us for photos, and everyone looked amazing in their suits and Birdy Grey dresses with their breathtaking bouquets by Camrose Hill.  We finished up with family portraits before guests began to arrive.  Everyone gathered for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and Maren and Austin were all-smiles as they greeted their guests afterwards.  We captured extended family photos as well as some absolutely gorgeous golden hour portraits of the newlyweds.  Austin had proposed to Maren in Door County on her birthday at sunset overlooking Lake Michigan, and we were so happy that they had another stunning evening for their wedding day as well!   

We returned to the reception where guests enjoyed dinner from Old Heritage Catering, cake, and speeches filled with plenty of laughter.  Maren and Austin took to the dance floor for the most beautiful first dance, followed by father daughter, and mother son dances.  The night came to a close with an epic dance party to live music with The R Factor Band.  Maren and Austin, it was such a joy serving you, and we had the best time celebrating alongside your family and friends!
