We had no doubt that Taylors Falls would be the perfect location for Sara and Jeremy’s summer engagement session. With its dramatic cliffs and scenic river views, it is one of our all-time favorite spots to explore in this season. Overlooking the St. Croix River, the beauty of this place never ceases to amaze us. It provides a breathtaking blend of nature and adventure surrounded by epic views at every turn, creating an absolute dream setting for sessions.
Capturing engagement sessions in Minnesota’s summer season is always such a joy! The warm days are longer, the evening light fades into a gorgeous golden glow, and everything is lush and green providing a stunning backdrop for portraits. There’s something simply magical about golden hour, and as we met for Sara and Jeremy’s session, the light was nothing short of perfection. Sara looked amazing in both of her white dresses which added a touch of bridal as well as a timeless elegance within the natural setting. Jeremy’s outfits complemented hers beautifully, and we love how their colors popped against the green trees.
We had the best time exploring the trails together, and it was so much fun chatting and getting to know these two more! Both enjoy camping, using the same pop-up camper Jeremy grew up using, and recently visited Split Rock Lighthouse in Duluth. They have plans to camp again in Michigan, soaking up every second of this beautiful season as finances. We could not be happier for them as they plan their big day, and we are so excited to continue documenting their love story at their wedding! Sara and Jeremy will host their celebration at the Refuge Golf Club in Oak Grove next summer, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them as they tie the knot surrounded by family and friends!
