The fall colors have officially begun to pop, and we can’t get enough of their gorgeous vibrant hues!  We are always so excited to capture portraits in this season and couldn’t wait to meet Jess and Alex for their engagement session in Taylors Falls!  These two are so much fun!  They are friendly, kind, thoughtful, and both looked absolutely amazing for their session.  Their outfits were perfect for the setting, and their navy and neutral colors looked incredible surrounded by all of the natural beauty of the St. Croix Valley’s rock cliffs and gorgeous foliage.  We had the best time exploring and have loved getting to know these two as we chatted!

Jess and Alex actually met while in a science lab ten years ago, but it wasn’t until years later that they would connect again.  The two began dating, fell in love, and Alex made big plans to pop the question.  Despite a few changes to those plans, he proposed at sunset while on a trip together, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.  These two enjoy traveling, and both love serving others through anesthesiology. They travelled to Boston for a conference together, and just returned from another one in Colorado. They have an upcoming trip to Glacier as well, and we can’t wait for them to soak up all of its epic beauty.  We are so happy for them as they experience so many adventures and as they plan their dream wedding!

We are beyond excited for them to host their family and friends at Pinewood Weddings and Events in Cambridge.  If their engagement session is any indication of how much fun their big day will be, we are in for an absolutely incredible day!  We can hardly wait until we can document their beautiful celebration next spring!
