St. Croix Valley | Summer Engagement

As we celebrate Independence Day, we could not be more grateful for the freedom we’ve been given, and for the beauty of our country!  Traveling the U.S. to serve couples and families in multiple states has been such a gift to us over the years, and we are incredibly honored to be a part of documenting hundreds of exciting milestones in so many breathtaking places!

We absolutely love photographing engagement sessions in each of Minnesota’s unique seasons, but summer is one of our all-time favorites.  Life as fiancés is all the more fun while enjoying warm weather, watermelon, and backyard BBQs with family and friends. Capturing that excitement is truly such a joy!  When Jessica and Jeff reached out to book their engagement session, we were thrilled that they chose Taylors Falls for their location.  It is such an epic settings for portraits, and no matter the weather, we always end up with beautiful images!  Jessica and Jeff are incredibly kind and were so gracious as we dodged a bit of rain throughout their session.  They are so sweet, and we had the best time as we explored the St. Croix Valley together.

We are all for incorporating elements that showcase who our couples are, interests that they share, or places or things that integrate a bit of their relationship into their photos.  We can’t think of a better way to highlight Minnesota than with a nod to our very own MN Twins and Wild teams.  Jessica and Jeff are huge fans of both teams, and we are so glad that they brought their jerseys along for the session!  We can’t wait to continue documenting their love story next summer at their wedding at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville.  We have no doubt their day will be amazing!
