When we learned that Robbie was planning on flying his airplane down for his engagement session in Anoka, we were beyond excited to capture photos at the airport!  Robbie has now flown into every airport in the state of Minnesota, and we were thrilled that the skies were clear enough for the flight.  We absolutely loved capturing portraits by the plane as the sun peeked through the clouds.  Photographing their session in such a unique setting was so much fun, and we had the best time chatting as we explored.

Megan and Robbie have such a sweet story, and getting to know our couples is just one of the many reasons we love what we do!  Megan’s brother-in-law had wanted to introduce Megan to Robbie for years before he finally got his chance when Megan attended an event that Robbie was working at.  Shortly after, Megan accepted a new teaching job that would move her closer to Robbie, and the two connected that very evening.  They went out for ice cream for their first date, and it was clear that they were meant to be.  Robbie proposed in January, and he and Megan reached out to book their wedding and engagement session just a few weeks later.

We love connecting with our couples at engagement sessions and getting to know them before their big day.  Our goal is also for them to have the chance to experience taking portraits together beforehand so that they know what to expect and are able to fully relax and enjoy taking photos on their wedding day.  We are so excited for Megan and Robbie’s big day at Westgate Church in Plymouth and the Golden Valley Country Club.  We can’t wait to be a part of their beautiful celebration in just a few short months!
