We can’t think of better way to wrap up our season in the south, than with Jessica’s family portrait session at one of our favorite places on Gasparilla Island.  It has been an absolutely incredible season, and we could not be more grateful to have served so many beautiful couples and families on the beaches of sunny Southwest Florida!  We first met Jessica at her best friend’s wedding a few years ago and had the best time celebrating with everyone at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis.  When Jessica reached out to book a destination portrait session in Florida, we couldn’t wait to connect with her again in Boca Grande!  She has been visiting the area for years, and we were so excited to capture her family’s photos in a place that holds so many special memories.

We met on yet another breathtaking evening, and with blue skies, sunshine, and a light breeze the weather was nothing short of perfection.  We started out among the palm trees and then headed out to the beach as the sun began to set.  Jessica’s family is as sweet as they come, and everyone looked amazing in their pastel colors.  Their outfits paired perfectly with the setting, and we loved the way that Jessica’s gorgeous yellow dress popped against the blues of the ocean.  The kids did such a great job taking photos, and were absolutely adorable as they ran along the sand and jumped in the waves!

As we finished out their session, we couldn’t help but reflect on what a joy it has been to photograph families as they vacation in Southwest Florida.  We hope that the images we share are a sweet reminder of many memories made, and that Jessica’s family enjoys the rest of their time together in the sunshine state!
