We have explored dozens of Southwest Florida’s most incredible beaches while photographing portrait sessions.  From Sarasota, all the way down to Marco Island, there are literally countless photo opportunities along the coast.  As we continue to discover new beaches, we have found endless variety in each setting.  Some are more remote than others and offer a more peaceful and quiet setting.  From the moment we arrived at Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island, we completely fell in love!  Its stunning location, with lush, tropical landscaping along the short pathway to the sand, is absolutely perfect for portrait sessions. The nearby buildings and Banyan Street provide breathtaking backdrops for photos, and it was no surprise when Emily chose Boca Grande for her session!

To say that we were counting down the days for this session is an understatement! We first met Emily and Shane at their winter engagement session in Taylors Falls.  Ten months later we had the privilege of photographing their wedding and had so much fun celebrating with their family and friends!  When Emily reached out to book a destination portrait session we were thrilled!  Keeping in touch with our couples over the years has been such a joy, and we are always so excited to meet their growing families!

Emily and Shane along with their adorable son and Emily’s family arrived on one of the most gorgeous evenings yet!  Their son is the absolute cutest baby boy, and was all smiles throughout the entire session! We soaked up every second of golden hour together, taking photos among the banyan trees and buildings before heading out to the beach for sunset. This sweet family is just amazing, and we are incredibly honored and grateful to have been trusted to document some of the most special milestones of their life!
