Stepping onto the grounds of the incredible Bavaria Downs in Chaska, MN feels as though you have travelled to the French countryside without even having left the state!  This venue is something out of a dream, and was the perfect space to host Nusi and Lucas’ wedding!  From the moment we met these two at their Taylors Falls engagement session last summer, we could not wait for their big day to arrive!  Hannah, Allie, and their team at Bavaria Downs did an excellent job of ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we are so excited to see what Hard Copy Film Co. captured on video!

The morning began in the Countryside Suite capturing details including rings by R.F. Moeller.  Nusi put on her stunning Anomalie dress, and walked out to the venue’s iconic fountain for her first look with Lucas.  The wedding party looked on from the balcony as Lucas turned to see his beautiful bride.  He and Nusi were all smiles throughout portraits, and we joined the wedding party for photos both inside the estate and throughout the grounds.  The entire group looked amazing in their dresses from Birdy Grey and their suits from Heimie’s Haberdashery, complete with their absolutely breathtaking florals from Bellagala.

Following a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake, friends and family gathered for cocktail hour before the reception began.  Guests gathered in the ballroom and enjoyed dinner by D’Amico Catering, speeches, and desserts.  We stepped outside for a few golden hour photos among the rolling hills and fields, before heading back in for dancing hosted by Bellagala.  Nusi and Lucas shared first dances with their father and mother, followed by an epic dance performance to end the evening!  Nusi and Lucas, you two were such a dream to serve, and we are so grateful to have been a part of your incredible wedding day!
