The Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach was the perfect setting to host Natalie and John’s family and friends for their dream wedding day. The day could not have been more incredible, and was expertly styled and coordinated by Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings. The ladies began the morning with Primped on hair and makeup while wearing their matching floral robes before putting on their beautiful blush dresses. Natalie put on her stunning Allure Bridals gown from the Wedding Shoppe and walked down the spiral staircase to meet John outside the Lafayette Club’s grand entrance for their first look.
We began portraits of the two of them just as a light snow began to fall and it could not have been more magical! The wedding party joined us for photos, and looked amazing with the bridesmaids in their Azazie dresses, and the groomsmen in their suits from Generation Tux. We finished up just in time to head to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for family photos and the ceremony. It was so much fun working alongside Story of Us Films who did an incredible job of capturing the day on video!
Following a beautiful ceremony, Renee’s Limousines transported the wedding party back to the Lafayette Club for the reception. The ballroom looked breathtaking, with decor by Linen Effects, and gorgeous florals provided by Sadie’s Couture Floral. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour and taking photos with Selfie & Co.’s photo booth, just before dinner, speeches, and cupcakes by Buttercream Cakes and Desserts. The Bluewater Kings Band hosted the dance, and we topped off the evening with a few night portraits under the gently falling snow. Natalie and John, your wedding day was incredible, and we hope that you have an amazing time celebrating newlywed life on your upcoming honeymoon to Hawaii!
