One of the most beautiful beaches in Southwest Florida is Bonita Beach. Situated along the Gulf coast between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Springs, Bonita Beach Park, it was the perfect place to capture a few family photos and spend the afternoon surrounded by sugar-white sand, seagulls, and sparkling ocean waves. This beach is also ideal to explore and take in the beauty of the gorgeous beach homes along the water’s edge. 

Southwest Florida is an absolutely incredible destination, and one we are now thrilled to be able to call our “home away from home.”  Whether you are traveling for a vacation, or in the area for a wedding, engagement, or portrait session, we have discovered a few new favorites this year, and wanted to share them with you! 

Beaches we Visited: Bonita Beach and Barefoot Beach

Parking: There are several beach access points and Bonita Beach access number 1 charges a small hourly fee.  Beach access numbers 2-9 are free to park, however parking spots are very limited so arrive very early in the day if you want to save on parking!

Walk to Beach: The parking lot for beach access number 1 is adjacent to the beach.  Street and lot parking can be very busy, especially during the evening, so plan to arrive for your session early to find a spot!

Amenities: The beach area does have restrooms for a place to change for your photo session.  The park also has grills, a picnic area, a playground and a volleyball court if you are planning to stay for the day.
