Engagement sessions are always so much fun, and we were so excited to connect with Natalie and Mike for their session in Taylors Falls!  Mike proposed to Natalie in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and we are already swooning over their love story.  There is something simply magical about photographing the short-but-sweet season of life as fiancés.  The giddy anticipation of starting a whole new adventure together is such a joy to capture.  We also love getting to know our couples before their wedding day! 

These two are such a kind, genuine, and gorgeous couple, and they made this session a blast to photograph!  We met on one of the most beautiful summer evenings, just in time to soak up golden hour at its finest.  Natalie had shared that they were looking for a natural setting for their session, and we knew Taylors Falls would be the ideal place to explore together. Both she and Mike looked amazing, and we loved Natalie’s floral print top and flowing white dress.  The evening could not have been more perfect, and the best part was definitely the way that these two looked at each other.  Their love for one another was absolutely beautiful, and the way that Mike held Natalie’s hand as they climbed through the rocks and cliffs was so sweet. As we walked together, it was so much fun to chat about their summer and their wedding plans so far. 

We are beyond excited for their big day this coming spring!  Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove will be the perfect place to host their wedding.  We can already imagine the beauty of the spring blossoms throughout the rolling hills.  We can’t wait to celebrate with them, alongside their family and friends, and are already counting down the days until next May!
