With its breathtaking gardens, waterfalls, and miles of natural trails to explore, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was the perfect place to host Josette and Peter’s spring wedding! After photographing their engagement session there this past winter, it was so much fun to be back again to celebrate their big day. Capturing a few shots of Josette’s dress, rings by Knox Jewelers, and jewelry among the bright and colorful plants of the conservatory was a blast. The ladies spent the morning preparing together, and the incredibly talented Kristi of Living Long Hair did an amazing job on hair! Josette’s mom and sister helped her into her stunning gown by Justin Alexander from Sincerity Bridal.
Peter was looking dapper in his suit by Calvin Klein, and could not wait to see his bride. She had gifted him a watch with their initials engraved into it that he wore as he stood among the gardens waiting to see her for the first time. Their love for each other is simply beautiful, and they were all-smiles as we began portraits together. Josette’s flowers from Weddings Your Way Floral & Events were gorgeous and were the perfect colors for their bright, sunny, and joy-filled day.
The ceremony, officiated by Josette’s father, was absolutely beautiful, and afterwards, we stole away for a few golden hour photos among the gardens. Shortly after, the reception began and guests enjoyed dinner and desserts by Crumbl Cookies. The evening ended with dancing and an epic dueling pianos show with Felix and Fingers. Josette and Peter, it truly was an honor to be able to celebrate with you alongside your family and friends. You two were such a gift to serve and we are so happy for you as you begin your journey as husband and wife! We hope Lake Tahoe is stunning and that you are enjoying every minute of newlywed life!
